We all know date night can’t be all about movies and popcorn! Every so often you and your baby need to get out and do something active. Last year the Divas put together a FANTASTIC pack with 12 different sport-themed dates—one for each month of the year and we thought this year we’d throw in a little something extra to help you out in the gift giving department! Cute packaging is always key for us! 😉 This post will show you how to package up those adorable dates to get your spouse excited to burn some calories, even in the dead of winter!

Boy, did she deliver! If I saw these waiting for me all tied up in string, I’d lace up my tennies in a heartbeat!
We’re sure you’ve seen all sorts of different “Year of Dates” gift packs around on Pinterest and it really got us thinking that our Year of Sporty Dates was perfect for this type of gift, it just didn’t have the packaging! With Joanna’s help that little issue is no more! How to turn the Sporty Date Kit into a Gift: Step 1: Buy and Print out the Sporty Date Kit from the store. We love printing through FedEx Office Online (use code CJN715 to get 15% off of ANY order, or to get 20% off of an order over $150, use code CJN721). Go through and prep all the parts to the dates so that you don’t have to worry about prepping July’s date in the midst of summer fun 😉
Step 2: Print the FREE envelope labels at the bottom of this post. They have just a little of a white border around them for printing purposes. We just sliced that off real quick with our paper cutter aka our 2nd great love.
Step 3: Grab 12 manila envelopes that have the clasp closure. There are also sticky closure ones, but if you get the clasp then you can add and remove stuff SO much easier!
Step 4: Put it all together! Each envelope gets one of the labels. We used our favorite glue dots to get them to stick and stay there! Then gather up your supplies for each month’s date and pop it in the corresponding envelope.
Step 5: Tie them together with some cute baker’s twine or colored raffia and attach the gift tag for your MVP! You could also put these in a cute little basket and keep it somewhere you would see it often to remind you that date night has already been planned! Ta-Da! You are ready and your spouse is going to love this thoughtful gift! {Bonus: it hits the love languages of gift giving and time! Win – Win!} We actually hope BOTH of you enjoy it all year long—and the great habits it can help create! Save Save
